El Aguila Honduran Kitchen
About us
Our story begins with Chef and Owner Elvin Lainez, born and raised in Sabá, Colón, Honduras. Surrounded by lush landscapes and home-cooked meals, Elvin grew up with a deep love for Honduran food. Seeking a better future, he and his family moved to the United States, carrying the flavors of home in their hearts.
After years of working in American and Asian kitchens, Elvin felt called to share the cuisine of his roots. In 2019, he opened his first food stand at the Arrow Flea Market in Fletcher, NC—where freshly made baleadas, soups, and traditional dishes quickly won the hearts of the community.
Today, El Aguila Honduran Kitchen continues that dream, offering dishes made from family recipes and Elvin's culinary creativity. Every meal tells a story—of heritage, resilience, and connection.
Whether you're discovering Honduran food for the first time or returning for a taste of home, we welcome you like family.Bienvenidos a nuestra familia.
